Fun in the Park

This week we met up with some friends in the park. I was feeling adventurous so I stomped around in the water.












Oh, maybe I'm a little too close to the source...

Later in the week we met up with more friends at a different park.

Mexico!

After getting up early it was off to the airport. Who knew there would be so much to see there!




















We're ready, let's go! One question... Where are we going?

















This moving sidewalk was a lot of fun.












After a long plane ride it was time to sit in a bus. What fun!





























Hmmm, I'm not sure what to think of my new surroundings.


















After a night's sleep I was ready to see more.


































Next it was off to the beach to look at the sand.

It's also hot! Time for a drink.

Later we sat by the pool. I liked to watch what everyone is doing.

I also really like this beach towel I picked out. It has so many animals on it!

More Mexico!

Every afternoon we went swimming in the pool. At first I didn't like it at all but by the end of the week I kinda liked it a little...

Our resort had many fountains. I liked to spend a little time each day looking at them.

Even More Mexico!

One day while we were in town I bought this pretty dress. It is my favourite.
















We were on our way to dinner but I needed to take a moment to reflect on the trip so far.



















This week I had a lot of time to practise using a fork. It was quite fun!











I also learned to drink from a straw!

note from mom: Violet is actually drinking water. We discovered that as long as she had a glass of water and a straw she wouldn't try to get our drinks!













Look! I can eat a whole apple.







Mmmm, tacos. My new favourite food is guacamole. I ate it every day! I also manged to eat 2/3 of this taco after I had already eaten a bunch of other veggies.












This looks like a good place to hang out for a bit.











I am now a Mexican wrestler. Beware my powers...













We had a long trip home on Saturday. We left the hotel at 2 so I had to catch a few winks on the way to the airport.










After a long wait (in an un-airconditioned airport) and a 4 1/2 hour flight to Calgary I managed to get about 30 minutes of sleep around 11 pm.

Of course as soon as the plane took off for Vancouver I was up and ready for more action!

Then it was into the car and home by 1:30 am. What a week!

Family Fun

Last Sunday I played in the water at Great Grandma Stinson's house.



























On Monday we went to try out the water park. I was not a huge fan of it.




























Now this is more like it!





























Grandma and Grandpa Sauder came out for a quick visit today.

I got to eat dinner with Jackson and Elijah.

After Jackson was done I used his fork.

































Elijah was kind enough to share his ice cream with me.
