Getting More Independent

Well, I thought it was time I tried to feed myself. At first I wasn't sure what to do...

After a few tries I started to get the hang of it.

Success!!

My new job is keeping an eye on the neighbours and laughing at them when they do sill things like driving into their garage.

I have been getting lots of practise walking around the living room.

Peek-a-boo anyone?

We have been getting a lot of snow. I thought I would go out and get a closer look.

I got this new toy last night. It is my new favourite.

Calgary - Part 2

There's nothing like a good book!

On Sunday we went to Banff. It was cold but beautiful.

The reason we went to Calgary was to visit Mom's friend Leslie that she has known since she was small. We didn't get a picture of her though... This is her Mom. She fed us dinner Sunday night.

She made me this dress out of an old pillow case because I had dirtied both sets of clothes and had to put them in the wash.

She also let me get really close to her cat. I had fun chasing the cat around.

Well, if all trips come to an end this one came to a crashing halt. It turns out that I am very sick. I picked up a stomach virus and it just won't go! It's been a week now and I haven't eaten a proper meal since we got back. I sure hope none of my new friends got sick.

As you can see I am not myself.

Thursday I was feeling a little more energetic so I just climbed up the stairs.

Hello little cow. How about a kiss??

Calgary - Part 1

Before we set out to Calgary I tried using a fork to eat my food.

I'm not sure how I feel about it...

Alright, here we go! My fourth plane trip. I was too interested in looking at the TV to look at the camera.

Safety first! Everyone knows you have to wear a seat belt when you are riding the plane.

I made many new friends while I was in Calgary. This is Rhys. His mom was friends with my mom in high school!

Cousin Noah shared all his toys with me.

Back at Leslie's house I checked out the weird weather they seemed to be having.

Cousin Tegan came by to say hello.

Anna is one of Mom's friends from university.

Another new friend! Carl is a friend of Mom's from high school.

New Skills

This week I went to play with Jackson and Taylor. We went on the teeter-totter.

Next I decided to try the slide. I didn't really like it though...

Lastly I went for a drive in my first car. Well, my feet didn't really touch so Mom pushed me.

Hmm, I seem to be trapped in some sort of bubble...

Now I can keep an eye on the neighbourhood!

A Week in the Life of...

You can't start the day without a good breakfast. I love bananas!

Mmmm!!!

After breakfast we spend time playing with my toys. This one is new.

I really enjoy all of my new Christmas toys.

Later in the day I roam around the house looking for things to do. Here I have found my remote control. If only I could get it to do something...

Would you like to share my blocks?

Sometimes we go out visiting. Here I am at Grandma and Grandpa Bertram's visiting my puppy.

I like to try to get through small spaces.

Let's get to know each other.

Even when I am playing with my toys Sally is right there.

Mom wanted you to see how I can talk.

A Few Random Pictures...

I'm not sure hats are my thing...

How do you like my new ride?

Cousin Shauna helped me play with some of my new toys.

Gwyn came over for a play date today.

Nothing like a good meal to finish off your day.
